Key and Data Segments Error

Suggestion, once you have corrected your key and data segment problem, create a duplicate file using only the key. Post you records to this file. Copy in the screens and processing. The create hour indexes. Use the rename utility to change the name of the old file and rename the new one to the original name. 

There are some quicker ways to do this, but this is the safest way. 

You will have a zero length data segment in the end. 

The only downside is if your key will be over 2Gb in size.
