Scott,
Un the past when a client asked me about backup, I contacted another developer in my area and made arrangements for them to meet.
I would suggest you contact some other developers in your area and discuss this with them.
One thing, you did not mention what your vertical is. You should consider working with those who have an understanding of the industry you work with.
