permission denied

Windows 7 Pro

4 session open on her desktop Only one accessing that record.  Other may be
have a browse open on the file in question from another file.

She called and said as she was updating a field in a file, when she saved a
change she had made, she got on file ...\key, permission denied.

However, the change she made was saved.

Any suggestions as to why she would have received a permission denied error?
