Not sure what you mean by "all windows (except filePro)".

Well, if all of the printers have network interfaces, then no server is
required, as you simply plug the printer into the network. Now, as far as
those printers which need to be connected to a server, then, yes, a single
printer server is simplest. Of course, that means they all need to be near
that single server. And, if that server has a problem, every printer
attached to it goes offline as well.

filePro is, and has been for many, many, years, a "true Windows" program.

However, I assume what you really mean to ask is "will filePro ever natively
support a GUI interface, without needing the fpGI add-on". There are
several projects under design at the moment which may or may not satisfy
your definition of "a truly windows version". However, you would need to
talk to TPTB directly for any details, as I am not sure what can be
discussed publicly.
