That's putty *emulating* the behavior that X servers on *nix have supplied
to apps for (literally) decades.  :-)  These days, it's mostly the middle
button that pastes, though.

No, but note that Simon specifically disclaims such behaviour as the proper
province of Putty; it should be done by external apps, saith he (note also
that snap-to-window is the default in most Unix window managers these days.
