my fp version (5.0.13) ignored 'break off' .... the clients version
(5.6), wouldn't allow the cntrl-c break. I turned the break 'on' just
prior to the browse lookup...
----------------
Do you have break key turned off?
fP changed behaviour, from release notes 5.0.13
(All) #661
BREAK OFF wasn't honored within a browse lookup.
What we've had to do, to maintain the users' past behaviour, is to use
the
Status command to save before the browse, turn break on, then restore
the
status after the browse lookup. If your break key is always off before
executing your browse lookup, you wouldn't need the status command and
just
turn on immediately before the browse, and back off after.
Alternatively,
you will need to program exit keys from every affected browse lookup and
retrain your users if applicable.
