color ideas

With our move to CentOS pretty much complete, it's now time to do some color
changes on our system.
Don't like how many of them look (to be clear, I didn't like them really
before the move to the new OS just hasn't been a priority until now)

Our users use putty and ssh to access the server.

Was wondering if some of you could share what color schemes you all might
use that are pleasing to the eye.
