OT: Win7 mapping to XP (was Re: Off topic- Map network drive in Win 7 to Sco Unix)

WinXP -IS- supported.  I get WinXP updates every rollup Tuesday.  Last
estimates put the EOL on WinXP at 2017.

I'm sick of seeing people say WinXP isn't supported by MS yet.  It is.
They released (in fact, made up intentionally) a new batch of serial
numbers for new installations about 1-3yrs ago.  That puts official EOL
somewhere around 2015-2017.

Just the other day, I saw someone claim XP wasn't supported any longer in a
year-old thread regarding Battlefield 3 not supporting it.  That's rubbish.
It's fully supported, with no end in sight of which I'm aware.  Last I
heard, it still has 49% or so of the Windows market.
