Recommendations on laser printer for printing checks

I would think that any HP LaserJet that worked with your system would be
fine.

We did all our checks for almost 16 years on an HP 4M Plus laser printer,
putting the checks in the fold-down auxiliary paper tray.  When we started
having problems with the extraction rollers on a weekend, I got a new HP
CP2025DN which is working nicely as well.  It's definately overkill for
check printing, but very nice for general printing with color and duplex.
Supplies aren't cheap unless you compare them to Inkjet cartridges.
