If memory serves me right (and at my age it doesn't) we still have a 3 bay 
expansion for a model 12 and a 12 megabyte hard disk for our old model 16.  I 
don't remember how much the expansion bay cost but the hard disk was $4295.

Yes I love my memory sticks.

The links were in the message pointing to (a) the HTML that said
exactly what the plain text did, but much more verbosely, and (b)
the image was fine.

This disk appears to have been about the same size as the
head-per-track disks on the Burroughs Medium Systems we were
using in the late '60s and early '70s.  They had a 4ms average
access time to anything on the disk which was much faster than
most disk or drum storage of the time.
