You didn't just upgrade (any component of) your Unix did you?

I just had a client upgrade from 5.0.5 to 5.0.6 (so we could get them
off their P3-800 :-), and found that James River FTPWIN wouldn't work 
anymore: Unix said it was at IDLE, but the client was hung.  Switched
him to WinSCP, and it worked fine.
