I'm so delighted to not have happened upon this thread at its outset
(onset?) and thus, somewhat fortuitously, glommed it in its entirety
-- else I might have erected one of my distinctive word edifices to
complement the structures elaborated by Mark and Brian.

Nevertheless, I still pick a nit: while not conceding that a problem was
solved, I will concede that one was resolved.
