And that xxx monologues word was banned? Is banned? Why the hell would
they ban an essentially clinical term for the damn thing. And if hell and
damn don't do anything? Why should vegematic...?? :-)
I've read the body of my text 20 times and there is no thing in it I can see
that would generate anything negative to a score. Uless, do think possibly
the word efacic? It doesn't sound good does it... But doesn't sound porn
either. :-)
Well, if this didn't bounce a few more, nothing will... :-)
John
P.S. - Absolutely 20/40 with lenses is fantastic... I didn't mean every
outcome was 20/20 with them, but I think the percentage is very high. It's
so funny that your eye is deep. I have the same thing. They call my eye a
"long" eye. In fact, there was only one surgeon in the country 10 years ago
who had endoscopic tools "long" enough to re-attach my retina. It was the
reason every retina surgeon turned me down as "unfixable"... You're going to
be blind the rest of your life... Until one guy said... I know this one man
in New York City. His name is Yale Fisher. And I wrote a long piece about
that whole experieince here. To this day, Yale and I are fast frineds...
Along with his wife and daughter. He now oscilates between Bascolm-Palmer in
Florida and NYC for his practice. I think he's working toward permanent
relocation of his practice to his home in Florida. That will be a long way
to go for checkups, but I will. I had a 259 degree detachment and he said he
used more laser on me than any other three patients combined. I would not
let anyone else deal with the back of my eye. The 1% vision I have left is
critical to me staying alive, so a yearly trip to Florida is no big deal.
Now, if I can just keep my cornea on straight. This one has lasted longer
than any of the others being at 2 years 9 months right now. The longest to
date before this one has been 1.5 years, and this is #6. I'm Guinness book
of records on the next one I think. Although, I would do anything at all to
stay out of that book for that reason. Oldest rock and roll star yes, 7
corneas, no. :-)
