It sounds like you've taken the overly-complex route to your destination. 
But, if it works for you, and you like it, go for it.

I still think that, if you could describe your situation better, along with 
what, exactly, you are trying to accomplish, there is a much better, 
simpler, easier-to-maintain solution available.
