Is it just me, or did Bill Campbell say:

Realistically, the phones aren't targetted at all to anything substantial.

The iPad, let's face it, might be "cool", but the target market is really
eBook readers, and web surfers.  The onscreen keyboard is really meant for
entering URLs and posting the odd blurbs to social networking sites.

In other words, it's a very expensive toy marketed to those with high
amounts of discretionary income, and those who have bought into the Apple
brand image.

I'd much rather blow the extra $300 and get a full Windows laptop that has
enough power to actually handle all but the most bleeding edge games at
moderate settings, plus serve as a full computing platform.

The iPad (the best of the three product lines of Apple's mentioned) is
really not intended as a full computing platform.  It's a mobile
convenience device for the upper class.

My opinion, but for what it's worth...
