My understanding is that it's not a linux distribution, it's an OS unto
itself.  It uses a modified linux kernel, but that's about it.  Developers
develop in Java.  It's not like it's running X11 and you can just fire up
an xterm.

And it would never run x86 binaries...it's an ARM architecture.
