As a self-taught filePro user I am way out of touch with most of your 
debates so pleasse excuse any ignorance I might show.
Situation: Long time home user of filePro from days when the program came 
with Radio Shack computer.  Learned enough to continue using it because 
filePro was and is so much better at what it does but have always had 
troubles with printers.  Have now moved to a new Dell computer XPS 630i. 
Have filePro running well EXCEPT for printing since most Windows printers 
are "dumb" printers so filePro is unable to work with them.  Please advise 
just what you recommend.

So far I have found that I can purchase an expensive printer;  purchase and 
learn to use PRINTFIL; find out more about a product called DOSPrint; or ask 
you guys for help.

Present printer is EPSON WorkForce 30

HP Scanner 5370C also does not work with Windows 7.  Anyone have words about 
VUESCAN?

Set-up:
Dell XPS with Windows 7, Core2 Quad; flat screen monitor, Epson WorkForce 30 
printer, HP ScanJet 5370C (NO LONGER SUPPORTED), with all the bells and 
whistles.
