Almost any text editor will work with filepro.  It is just a matter of
remembering where the colons go and the line length restrictions.

I usually do my initial programming using fp editor but the use notepad
editing or changes.  I especially like the ability to make global changes
easily.

Just remember to bring the processing table up in the fp editor to do a
syntax check and if using tok tables, create it.
