There is a download "Windows XP Mode", which as I understand it is XP in a 
VM for Windows 7.  It does, however, require "hardware-assisted 
virtualization", which is not supported in all CPUs, even in today's market. 
  For example, my 3-month-old Win7 box, which has an "Intel Core 2 Duo 
T6600" and runs 64-bit Windows, does not support it.
