My HP 4M Plus with Duplex has been Just Working(tm) since November 1995.

I spent a couple of hundred bucks a year or so ago to have the shop go
through it, clean things up and replace rollers as there's nothing around
that looks like it would do a better job for the money.

A networked color laser is tempting, but I probably won't do anything about
that until my HP Photosmart 7350 dies or my wife's printer goes Tango
Uniform.

A Democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only
exist until the voters discover they can vote themselves largesse out of
the public treasury. From the moment on the majority always votes for the
candidate promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the
result that Democracy always collapses over a loose fiscal policy, always
to be followed by a Dictatorship.
