Top post:

I am using Printwiz here and at a client location. One thing Bob did not
mentioned for the Windows version, using the server edition, is the ability
to set printwiz up as a Windows service. Similar to pfpostprint but I find
a bit more flexible.

Like post print, the service watches a directory and the profile being used
controls the type of output and where it goes.

You can have filepro output to a directory called pdf_txt and have the pdf
file(s) created and placed in pdf_files (need on for the txt file and
another for the pdf).

I am currently doing this at one client with 135 plus separate reports being
generated. The whole process take about 5 minutes. Please keep in mind
that this is run on a Windows 20008 server with a quad processor and no one
logged in at the time.

I have 2 other jobs that create pdf files which go to different directories.
The last piece will be to have these either faxed or emailed to the
recipient. All of this automatically using Printwiz.
