Error when saving an updated record

Bob,

This may be a lock error or a corruption error.  Do you own a network or 
single user version of filePro?

What happens when you SAVE your record?  Is their posting to other 
files?  Does the file have indexes?  If it does - what are they built on.

The error message is telling you something is not right but it is not 
giving us any more clues than that.

I have also seen errors like this when there is a corruption in the 
edits, automatic processing, indexes - things like that.
