Error when saving an updated record

Hi
 
FilePro 5.0
Windows XP
 
Quite often when I update a record and then hit ESC to save the record I get
this error:
 
The instruction at 0042a895 referenced memory
b The memory could not be read from.
 
Then a windows box appears:
dwwin.exe application error
The exception Breakpoint
A breakpoint has been reached.
(0x80000003) occurred in this application at
location 0x7c90120e.
 
 
Does anyone know how I can avoid this error.
 
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
