I didn't realize you were using sort/sel prc to test this, but glad 
you are now seeing a difference.  And, this business of the 
CP and encoded crap on Windows is really getting my kilt in 
a pinch - that just happened to me today.  Others here have been 
through this one system again and again and have assured me that 
I shouldn't run into it again - that the icon they've set up for me 
on a 2003 server should keep me out of trouble.  But no, half the 
time when I go in and out of prc tables that only I use they get 
saved with the CP and now, ocassionally, not in ascii mode.  So, 
it did it again today, and now I have to wait - I'm not sure what 
I can do now.

I was thinking about this when I chimed in recently about other 
Windows fp time-stealers, but I couldn't quite remember.  This 
one has cost me quite a bit of headache and time.
