Tony,

I do not understand your reference to "add fields"  are you
1) writing a report
2) doing an export
3) changing the file structure in filepro
4) doing an arithmetic calculation

Sounds like it might be number 3.  What happens when you do it?  What kind of 
file is it?  Does it ask any questions?  How do you answer them?

Please provide more info.
