Well the problem before you is that filePro as it exists today is that
really is not designed to work with UTF-8 type data.
For a heart ♥ you might want to send Unicode U+2665, face U+263A ☺

In a microsoft world where MS licenses a free database engine with a max storage
of 4 gig and supports just about every language in the world, using a storage
engine that can only store a character range of 256 is just kinda the train you
are on.
I just had a thought that filePro developers probably have a low incidence of
divorce, since we are willing to stick with things through thick and thin, and
are willing to make things work regardless of the additional emotional investment.
Back to your problem. What about using Print Wizard?
