gosub and lookup in browse drop processing

When using a browse lookup with xkey=x and prc=label, if doing another 
gosub and lookup to the same file in that label, the xkey=x is ignored, 
and other records in the lookup file are shown.  There are different 
handles to each lookup since it is the same file, but using a different 
index.  

I believe this worked under pre 5.0.9 versions, but I no longer have 
those running anywhere.  Does anyone use this technique, and have it work?
