Of course you learn by asking questions. But, you also need to learn how
to ask questions.

The problem here was that you took the problem you were having, and stripped
all relevant information out of it, leaving nothing but "filePro", "Windows",
"Dell printer", and "connect". (And you only mentioned filePro in passing,
to tell us it's version 5.0.) All anyone had to go on was that you were
having a problem "connecting" your printer, and that "Dell" wasn't on some
unnamed list.
I assume you wouldn't call tech support for a problem and give them the
non-information I used in my example below. But in effect, that's exactly
what you did here.
