Have you tried setting the shortcut to emulating win98?
However, from Ken Brody's earlier post, he has tested most earlier versions
of fp on Vista and they ran.
However, might I suggest that you create that Vista should be configured
similar to a *nix install as it doesn't like executables (bat files) in the
root directory.
Create an \appl folder and move fp and filepro folders into it. Adjust your
config file to the new file locations.
One other question, did your original installation have a fppath file? If
it did, did that get moved to the new machine?
