Did your tarball contain programming as well?  Who owns the rights to the
software?  Did you license this to you client or do they own it?

If you own the rights, then you are in a position to bring a complaint.

In any event, the data is owned by your client and they can do with as they
please.  Mark is correct, not authorized by a responsible party, the bring
an action against the MAS90 firm.
