Windows fP doesn't find its databases

Data is actually in:

Z:/deputy/filepro

I tried:

PFDSK=Z
PFDIR=/deputy
PFDATA=Z:

This did not work.  Same result.  Nothing found in "*:/deputy/filepro".

Again, note the asterisk.

Ideas?
