OT: keepalive, PPPoE, and ssh - no joy

I assume you're using PuTTY; you checked "Seconds between Keepalives"
in Connection to make sure it's 0, right?

Oh, wait.  PPPoE.  Yeah; that means the interface is going away, I
think, if you're terminating the PPPoE *on* the Qube.  If your PPPoE
terminated in a router first, I think you'd be ok.
