fP printing to a Sharp copier

I have a client who either purchased or leased a Sharp AR-M450 PCL5e last
year.  I upgraded them from fP v4.5 last spring to v5.0.14 and setup
printing to the Sharp at the same time w/o problem.  Now they tell me in
October it started generating 5 copies of all print requests from fP.  The
LED panel even says printing one of five, two of five, etc.  Since fP is not
using the Windows Print Driver I don't know what else could have caused
this.  All other Windows print functions print the correct number of copies.
We removed the printer initialization string and I had them re-load the
HPLASER.PRT file to no avail, still 5 copies.  Even a print request w/ no
print codes such as an fP screen hardcopy prints 5 times, even w/ a blank
initialization string prints 5 copies.  

Before I contact Sharp has anyone else seen this type of behavior?
They only other thing I can think of is a default setting in the printer
menu system got set to print 5 copies and for Windows print jobs the driver
is overriding the default number of copies setting.  Everything else printed
to this printer is being sent from Windows.
