Since you are running a *NIX version of filePro, to migrate to Windows will
require an upgrade to 5.6 windows version.

I have a number of systems installed on Windows server 2003 and have no
problems with it.

Keep in mind that you would need to purchase fptransfer to migrate your
application to Windows.

That said, if you make use of *nix scripting you would loose much of this
functionality unless you install Windows versions of those programs. This
would also necessitate your testing these scripts to insure that they are
working properly.

It seems to me that it would make more sense to move to Windows PC's and use
the terminal emulation software programs available such as Anzio. There are
others on the list who could recommend other emulators.

I left the *nix world many years ago but I would be reluctant to migrate a
client off of a *nix platform unless it was absolutely necessary.
