You mean autoscroll, not scroll lock.  Per the docs (i found an old
wyse 60 hardcopy manual here) this makes sense.  I had them try Auto-scroll 
on/off to no avail.  I guess it will wait until I next visit them and i'll 
reset all to factory defaults and try from there before assuming terminal is 
busted.  

incidentally, how in the heck did you find that page on wyse site, or
did you have it bookmarked from ages ago?

i could not find anything on character based terminals from knowledgebase
page.
