Where do I adjust printing parameters for hardcopy printouts?

I took Wally's suggestion and created a separate printer definition from 
a copy of the one I wanted.  Then I set up a new printer, and finally 
set PFPRINTER to that printer definition in a batch file I'll use for 
development.
