Any hard copy not controlled by processing will print to your set default
printer.
There a several ways to find your default printer:
(1) Choose option 7 off your filePro Plus Main Menu, press P and look for
the entry with an asterisk (*) to the left of the entry number
(2) Choose ? off your filePro Plus Main Menu, press F6 and check the value
for PFPRINTER variable
(3) At the OS level, check the value for PFPRINTER variable
As you can see, whatever the PFPRINTER variable is set, is the printer you
will print to by default. So, that is the printer you will need to change
which can be done using Printer Maintenance option off your filePro Plus
Main Menu.
Depending on how your application is set, you may be running a batch file
or .profile script to override settings thus defaulting you to a printer
other than the one noted by above mentioned methods.
Just make sure you change the right printer configuration table and you
should be OK.
It might be worth mentioning that changing this printer may cause other
problems with reports that are currently printing to that printer and page
settings (lines per page) are just fine - In other words, you may cause
these reports to run off line or start printing out of alignment.
Hope this helps!
