Anzio 16 beta testers wanted

Hello,

We are beginning the process of soliciting beta testers for AnzioWin 
version 16. If you would like to assist and provide feedback on this, 
please email me.

Some of the notable improvements (ready or under construction) are:

* Print Wizard improvements:
     * More robust PCL translation
     * More robust PDF generation
     * PWML can specify <TAIL>, to be added to end of document
     * Improved search/replace
     * Print range of pages
     * Print multiple copies
     * Allow "Test Print" from Preview window, printing first page only

* New "passthru" program available for Linux/Unix
     * Allows stdin or named input
     * Send multiple files
     * Can do secondary passthrough print
     * Manage job flushing in Anzio

* Better operation on Windows Vista
     * Store settings file in user's APPDATA directory
     * Tablet PC operations ("Ink") now available in Vista

* Fax improvements
     * Fax with specified cover page
     * Specify subject, recipient, etc.
     * Fax via separate fax server PC

* Cookie handling
     * Read and write cookies, to coordinate data with web pages, for 
       instance

* Command improvements
     * More control over launched Windows programs
        * Report result code
        * Kill launched program         
     * More error indications passed back up to server program
     * Rotate display on one monitor in a multi-monitor setup
     * TAKEFOCUS command to reclaim Windows focus
     * FLASH command to flash taskbar item

* Printing to TIF
     * TIF file as print output
     * Control over density, color, size, etc.
     * Create immediately faxable TIFs

* Scanning improvements
     * Control over density, color, size, etc.
     * Control sheet feeders
     * Control automatic or manual duplexing
     * Scan-to-print
     * Scan and upload
        * With specified file format
     * Scan to PDF
     * Scan and fax

* More image formats
     * PNG, PCX, DCX

* Image format conversion
     * COPY command can convert graphics format

* Run with initial command
     * Run Anzio with initial command specified in command line
     * Have Anzio launch another instance of itself, with a command

* See what parameters have changed
     * When you get the "parameters have changed" message, press a button 
       to see a list of what has changed

* Diagnostics
     * Keyboard diagnostics
     * Also shows mouse, gesture, etc.
 
* ClearType support
     * Make ClearType font smoothing work
     * Automatically turns off when screen is rotated

* Movie Window
     * Display a video at a specified location
     * Relative to window or relative to screen
     * Place it in a floating window
     * Pause and play
     * Use for training videos, etc.

* Image Window
     * Launch a window for displaying images
     * Over the Anzio window, or free floating
     * Anzio command control what image is shown there
     * Scan into this window
     * Use as the basis of an imaging application

* Emailing
     * Email agent can use four email methods
     * Email generated PDFs
     * Control all parameters of email, so no operator intervention
     * Email screen shots

* SSH local port forwarding
     * Tunnel a local TCP/IP port through the server
     * Use for mail agents, web browsers, etc.

* SSH keyboard interactive authentication
     * Often used by SUSE Linux
     * Alternative to public key, password authentication
     * Can still be automated

* SSH backchannel serial
     * Assign one or more PC serial ports
     * Each port creates a virtual port on the Unix/Linux host
     * Support PIN pads, scales, other serial devices
     * All data is encrypted by SSH

* SSH multiple backchannel printing
     * Assign multiple printers
     * Each printer creates a virtual port on the Unix/Linux host
     * Printer traffic is independent of screen traffic
     * All print data is encrypted by SSH

* Easier macro creation

* Support for tilt mouse wheel, extra mouse buttons, extra keys
     * Assign actions to take when user tilts mouse wheel
     * Assign actions for 4th and 5th mouse buttons
     * Assign actions for special keys on extended keyboards

* Dynamic PDF, TIF naming
     * Create a naming scheme for PDF, TIF files to be created
     * Can contain date elements, time elements
     * File serialization

* Toolbar improvements

* Ink improvements in TabletPC, Vista
     * Gesture recognition
         * Gestures translate to keystrokes
     * Shape recognition, cleanup
     * Handwritten text input
     * In main screen, for user docs, tech support
     * In Print Preview
