So why not post "I have a picture. I'll e-mail it to anyone who want

Opening and viewing the attachment is not the same things as being
forced to download it before you can even make that decision. It's
not the "you sent an image", it's "you sent a 3.1MB e-mail" to the
list.

So, you have an image which is only 4% of the size of the one that you
sent, yet you felt that generating gigabytes of e-mail traffic to send
an image that only a few people wanted to see, was a good idea, and that
the list managers are censoring such things?

This has nothing to do with filePro, per se. It has to do with being
a good netizen. You could have sent the smaller image, which was only
4% the size of the one you did try to send, and say "anyone who wants
the hi-res version of it, contact me". Or, you could have simply put
a URL for the image in the e-mail. I'm sure either one would not have
been an issue for anyone.
