This is one of the things I really like about the IMP webmail
piece of the horde system. One can *EASILY* send attachments as
links which IMP automatically copies to the horde server, adding
link(s) in the message body pointing to the file(s). It's one of
the few reasons that I actually use a webmail interface, most
frequently ssh'ing to my Linux server, and reading mail in mutt.
FWIW: Mark did the processing on this as I've been in a week
long Plone bootcamp. I would have rejected the message with a
message explaining that sending a 3MB file to a few hundred
people is unacceptable, not censorship. My message might have
said something like ``are you as stupid as you appear to be''?
If I were into modifying messages to the list, the first thing I
would do is configure Mailman to strip or reject all HTML
attachments.
