Still OT: Destroying CDs/DVDs

There are shredders on the market today that specifically have slots on them
to shred credit cards and CD's.

Being 10 years old is probably why it works fine on shredding CDs.  I
would venture a guess that the "modern" shredder would choke after only
a few CDs were put in it.  (Assuming it were to survive the first one,
that is.)  Of course, the "business class" shredders may still be okay
today.
