Linux date as filepro sees it

Hi.  I have a customer that has Suse Linux 9.0 and
filepro 5.0  When I log in I see that the date/time is
Oct 25 21:44 - When I do a date command I get a
similar answer.  However, when I go into filepro and
examine the @td variable in the debugger I get
10/26/06

Anyone have a clue as to what is going on here?  Any
help would be appreciated.
