Accessing FilePro

SSH worked like a champ.

To answer Walt's questions:

The current server is a Redhat 8 Linux box running FilePro 4.8. The box 
is equipped with a Stallion multiport serial board. This lets me attach 
up to 8 serial devices to the machine. Cureently there is one Okidata 
printer and one 1 IBM6151 terminal attached. I also have a Panasonic 
impact printer  and a HP laserjet 5,  both attached to a hub. I do have 
a Windows machine running AP and Payroll.

The current plan is to upgrade the server to Fedora 5, replace the dumb 
terminal with a FC5 workstation and give the VP access to FilePro, etc. 
thru his laptop, which is now dual booting XP and FC5.

I've loaded a test version of FilePro on the FC5 workstation and am 
running test to make sure everything works before upgrading the server 
box to FC5 and  FilePro 5.6.   So far so good. My only concern is 
accessing the Okidata  serial printer which is not a network printer.

Oh, and did I mention I have to move all this equipment accross the hall?

Thanks again for the quick response on SSH. Any ideas on my conversion 
will be helpful.
