Well it was initiated about a year and a quarter ago, and then again half a
year ago. Windows 2000 Professional. Trust me, the BIOS had them set as
NONE and they were performing just fine all this time, if you can consider
the slow speed and CPU overhead "fine". Hell, even MAXBlast would use them
with no warnings!
That system runs a -heck- of a lot better now, btw.
