There are two excellent books on Samba available from the samba.org
site as free PDF downloads, and in the dead-trees version as well.
These are the offical Samba 3.0 HOWTO and Samba 3.0 by Example, both by
John Terpstra.

The Samby by Example has many examples taken from real-world installations
that John has done over the years.
