Yes, and that 0.5 Mb seemed mighty vast and roomy at the time, coming from 64K on the 
Z80 machines.  I remember when Howie could no longer assemble his MOS program 'cause 
the symbol table didn't fit in ram anymore.  He solved this by shortening every label 
in the source code to three characters.  When the programming staff was horrified, he 
protested, "But *I* know what they all mean!"
