I don't know why you're using CTRL-\ anyway (it sends the QUIT
signal and causes a core dump.

I'd suggest using the [Delete] key (it sends the INTR signal, and
if you don't have the command BREAK OFF in the processing, it will
terminate the process).

ISFAIK, PFBREAK (for [dr]report) and PFCLKBREAK (for [dr]clerk)
can be unset, or hold OLD or OFF, and determine only how filePro
reacts to the INTR signal (Del on UNIX, Ctrl+C on Linux/Windows).
