I've used both. I had to use Pg when I ported FairPay to that and MSSQL,
besides the native MySQL version I wrote for myself.
I have to say--while the featureset may be more robust and mature, and it
may be more standards-compliant, I -loathe- the Pg administration model.
It's absolutely archaic compared to MySQL's, IMHO. Or was when I used it a
year or two back. It truly reminded me of a database for hackers rather
than even DBA's. I wasn't impressed on that particular side of things.
