warning error when trying to print

The % symbol is used in a print code table when there
is a nested sequence.  It sounds like you are using a
print code that contains a %s sequence.  It probably
should have been a % followed by a print code number. 
At any rate it sounds like there is corruption in the
print code table that you are using.  I would suggest
that you go into printer maintenance on the proper
table and see if you can find the %s
