I have had problems with their PPPOE authentication somehow affecting
connections and in some situations, preventing VPN with Sonicwalls.

All tiers of tech support are baffled (of course), but some have heard
of this.

After arguing and forcing them to change the account to a 'legacy'
static IP
type account, all works perfect.

Just my experience with SBC/ATT or whatever they call themselves next week.
